1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rentomatics ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Rentomatics is an AI-powered apartment search assistant. The Service helps users discover rental listings, communicate preferences, and organize their apartment search. Features include an AI chat agent, listing aggregation from third-party sources, and a personal listing dashboard.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
4. AI Agent Activity
Rentomatics uses an AI agent that may search listings, draft messages, and interact with third-party services on your behalf. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.
- You are responsible for reviewing any communications or actions taken by the AI agent before acting on them.
- Rentomatics is not responsible for outcomes resulting from AI agent actions, including communications sent to landlords or property managers.
5. Automated Landlord Outreach
By enabling outreach features (including automatic outreach and the "Reach out" button), you authorize Rentomatics to contact landlords and property managers on your behalf. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Rentomatics will use your name, email address, and phone number in communications sent to landlords and property managers.
- Landlords may contact you directly via phone, text message, or email in response to outreach sent on your behalf.
- Outreach messages are generated by AI and sent automatically. While we strive for accuracy, you are responsible for reviewing any resulting conversations and commitments.
- Rentomatics does not guarantee responses from landlords, availability of listings, or the outcome of any communication.
- You may disable automatic outreach at any time from your dashboard. Disabling outreach will stop new messages from being sent but will not recall messages already delivered.
- You will not use the outreach feature to send spam, harassing, or misleading messages. Abuse of the outreach system may result in account suspension.
6. Third-Party Listings
Listings displayed in the Service are sourced from third-party platforms including but not limited to Craigslist, RentCast, and realtor.com. Rentomatics does not verify the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any listing. Always independently verify a listing before making any financial commitment.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Rentomatics does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of any listing information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentomatics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost rent, housing disputes, or reliance on inaccurate listing data.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
